We took evening cruise to see the lights of the city and bridges in central Nanning near her mother's home. We left from Tingzi marina . There was a DJ with lots of music and people on the shore. There are lots of international food stands here are will. It drew a large number of peoples of all ages.

The Pinglu Canal: Through the Mountains to the Sea
Xiu and I were a part of history today. We took the first cruise on the Pinglu Canal . We arrived early and were to first to board this brand new boat on this just open calnal. The 134.2-km Pinglu Canal will give southwest China a new southbound water route to Beibu Gulf, with giant ship locks moving 5,000-ton-class vessels across a total drop of about 65 meters.
