We visited a place that I have been hoping for visit for many years. It right next to the Aseian Center and it is a venue that offer free live music on several outdoor stages, nightly fireworks and lots of resturants and bars. It is surrounds a lake and that make a great place to walk.

The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo has just ended in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, running from Sept. 17 to 21. The event has brought together the flavors, crafts and cultures of Southeast Asia and beyond. Xiu and I were able to attend this large event that was just a mile away from our home in Nanning.
The national pavilions are drawing crowds of curious visitors. On offer are Thai chocolates, Vietnamese civet coffee, Philippine coconut treats, Malaysian snacks, Indonesian batik, Cambodian pepper, Myanmar jadeite and Nepalese wool felt handicrafts.
These photos capture the expo's role as a platform for trade, cultural exchange and people-to-people connection.
第23届中国—东盟博览会刚刚在广西壮族自治区南宁落下帷幕，展会时间为9月17日至21日。此次活动汇聚了东南亚及其他地区的美食、手工艺和文化。我和秀有幸参加了这个离我们家南宁仅一英里的大型活动。
各国馆吸引了大量好奇的游客。展出的有泰国巧克力、越南麝香猫咖啡、菲律宾椰子零食、马来西亚小吃、印尼蜡染、柬埔寨胡椒、缅甸翡翠和尼泊尔羊毛毡手工艺品。

Nanning is a large city in in south China. It has about 6 million people. The city is surrounded by a fertile agricultural region producing subtropical fruits and sugarcane; food processing, flour milling, sugar refining, meatpacking, and leather manufacturing are important in the city. Nanning is a centre for printing and papermaking, and heavy industry is also important—as is the production of building materials, especially cement. In the 1990s the completion of a rail line between Nanning and Kunming (west) in Yunnan province and of railways from Nanning and the port cities of Fangchenggang and Beihai on the Gulf of Tonkin provided the shortest rail transport for southern China to the sea. Nanning subsequently became the railway hub of southern Guangxi.

This is the collection 21 residential towers where we live. We live in building number 21. Each Building has 8 units per floor and have 48 levels for units and 3 underground levels for parking. The single tower we live in average number people is 1,152-2,000 or about 23,000 in this 3 acre complete. There are thousands of compex this size or larger in Nanning. There are also lots of 6 story units everywhere. The grounds are like a park with ponds, streams, playgrounds, and gathering areas.
