While we were attending a wedding in SE China we stayed at a a farm home. Agriculture in SE China is very different than rural Iowa and Nebraska where I have spent my life. Each farm has a varity of crops. Some for use by the family, some for sale at the local market. Some of the larger haverst will be exported to the near by cities. Rice, corn, and fruits appear to the the largest crops. Green beans, long beans, carrots, cucumbers, and a variety of melons and gourds were also grow. Bambo is grown for food and as a structure material. All types of vegetables are grown in this tropical climate.
