The Xi'an area in west cental China is known for growing wheat. The diet here has more bread and crackers than the South of China. Unlike the Wheat I have seen grown in Kanasas, Colorado, and western Nebraska it often grownn in smaller field with fruit and vegitable production. The rasing of sheep is also an important part of agriculture in this area.
